Keynote Speaker - Attorney David C. Gibbs, III
David C.
Gibbs III
Our keynote speaker this year is David C. Gibbs III, the noted attorney who represented Terri Schiavo’s family in the landmark 2005 case that ended up with the “legal” taking of a woman’s life for the apparent convenience of her husband. That story is recounted in detail in David's book, Fighting For Dear Life, published in 2006. David is the husband of Carin, and Dad to 4 precious children. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Awana Clubs International. He received his education at Liberty University in Virginia and his law degree from Duke University School of Law. He works with Gibbs Law Firm, P.A., Christian Law Association and Home School Legal Advantage, defending the rights of churches and Christians nationwide as a legal missionary. He is admitted to the United States Supreme Court, numerous federal courts nationwide, as well as state bars in Florida, Ohio, Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, North Dakota, Tennessee, Michigan, and the District of Columbia. He conducts a Bible preaching ministry, a daily radio program heard on 1,500 radio outlets The Legal Alert, and has authored 4 other books. We are thrilled to be able to have his participation in our conference and are certain you will be blessed over and over again!

Awana Tip of the Day
Commanders and Directors: plan a VIP night and invite parents to be your special guests for the evening. Encourage them in their God-given role to nurture their children to faith in Christ. Explain how Awana can play a part in helping them in this most important role.

A Look at God's Book
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Matthew 7:7-8 |
